Our training program has been developed to meet the rapidly changing and expanding private investigation and executive protection industry throughout the United States. Whether you are interested in the investigative/personal protection field, wish to learn the tactics of a private investigator, or simply want to upgrade your present investigative skills, our program has something for everyone.

This intensive and exciting seven-day on-site program in Chicago, Illinois, should not be confused with basic, novice online courses or undeveloped pay-for-meaningless certificates of “PI” completion. We are not an accredited college or state-registered academy (except for Illinois, where we are) that provides basic investigative information and non-hands-on experiences. We are indeed different. If you or a group are searching for the most intrinsic and realistic "hands-on" in-depth training course, you've found the source.

Please acknowledge that this course is a fast-moving, factual, and thorough experience into the real world of the Private Investigator and Personal Protection Professional. Please also note that this course offers a "taste-test" of all the different areas of the private investigation profession and the executive protection (bodyguard) profession. Completion of this course will NOT allow you to work independently as a Private Investigator unless your state does not require an investigation license. Successfully completing this course may, however, allow some students (where allowed by state law) to work as registered employees for a licensed private investigation agency, as long as the license holder permits it. Special Solutions, Ltd., & The Investigative Training Institute do NOT guarantee employment, nor do any of the aforementioned entities and educators make any promises for employment. Please note that many investigative agencies in the U.S. are continually seeking competent and honest employees, and this field is growing rapidly. We can and will set each student in the right direction to find a career in this field.
